Hyderabad-based drug firm Suven Life Sciences Limited has secured five product patents for their new chemical entities (NCEs) in China & Korea for the treatment of disorders associated with neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's disease, attention deficient hyperactivity disorder, huntington's disease, parkinson and schizophrenia. These patents are valid through 2007 and 2028 respectively. Suven has 12 internally-discovered therapeutic drug candidates currently in pre-clinical stage under its portfolio.
